Born in 2002 and launched as The Porch in 2019, our story is still being written. God is at work in our weekly gatherings, events, and community groups — and you’re part of that story.

The Porch Community Church is made up of real people, living real lives, experiencing the highs and lows of life together, and learning to Follow Jesus For Our Community. Current Series

The Asking For A Friend series at The Porch Community Church takes on the real, sometimes uncomfortable questions people wrestle with in their faith—but might hesitate to ask out loud. Each week tackles a different question about God, church, and life through honest conversation and biblical truth, helping people move from curiosity to clarity and from doubt to deeper trust in Jesus. Rooted in a grace-filled, practical approach, this series reminds us that no question is too small or too heavy when it comes to growing in faith—and that transformation often begins when we’re brave enough to ask.

What’s Happening!

Christmas Impact is our annual opportunity to children in our community. We have partnered with the Lowndes County School System and Living Bridges in order to provide Christmas gifts for kids in our community.

Register online to shop for a child and you will be provided a gift bag with the name and wish list of a child. Please fill the bag with clothing and gifts to share the love of Jesus this Christmas.

All gifts must fit inside the bag. Please return the backpack with the tag attached by December 7th.

Kids & Students

At The Porch, we believe our kids and students aren’t just the future of the church—they’re the church today. PorchKids and the Porch Student Community (PSC) are designed to help the next generation discover who God is and who He’s calling them to be.

PorchKids serves newborns through 5th grade during Sunday services and on Wednesday nights, providing fun, safe, and age-appropriate environments where children can explore faith through worship, engaging activities, and biblical teaching. Students in 6th–12th grade connect through PSC gatherings on Sunday nights, where they’re challenged and encouraged to grow in their relationship with Jesus. They’ll meet leaders who genuinely care and want to help them take their next right step.

Our goal is to partner with parents to move kids and students from where they are to where God wants them to be—creating a lasting faith and a deep sense of belonging within God’s family.
